Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MainStreetAI, a local business directory. By browsing the site, submitting a lead, claiming a listing, or purchasing a Featured placement, you agree to these terms.

The service

MainStreetAI lists local home and property businesses free of charge. Business owners can claim their listing to edit its details, view stats and leads, and optionally upgrade to a paid Featured placement for extra visibility.

Listing accuracy

Unclaimed listings are built from publicly available sources on a best-effort basis and may contain errors or be out of date. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing. If you are the business owner, claiming your listing lets you correct it directly. If a listing about your business is wrong and you would rather it not appear at all, use the removal request form.

Claiming a listing

To claim a listing you must be authorized to represent that business. We verify claims through your email domain, a phone call to the listed number, or manual review. Submitting false information to claim a listing that is not yours may result in the claim being reversed and the account suspended.

Leads and messages

The contact form on a listing sends your message directly to that business. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any transaction, communication, or dispute between you and a listed business.

Featured listings and billing

Featured placement is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually, processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel or manage payment details at any time from your dashboard's billing portal; Featured status remains active through the end of the period you already paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, defamatory, or fraudulent claims, leads, or listing edits
• Attempt to claim a listing for a business you do not own or represent
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract listing data for a competing directory
• Interfere with the site's normal operation, including automated abuse of forms

Disclaimer of warranties

MainStreetAIis provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MainStreetAI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any listing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of MainStreetAI after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
